Magnolia add-on was created to ease the way users mark their bookmarks in "ma.gnolia.com".

Initially the project was intended to be similar with delicious add-on, but "ma.gnolia.com" API wasn't ready for that time, so I had to improvise. So it came to a simple, lite solution: a page with the looks of magnolia bookmarks page, a simple XHR technique for submitting the fields, generated response, a clean login form and some extra details. The add-on released as lite and clean, without conflicts with the browser interface, nor with other add-ons.

Although the first release had in the first two months more than 2000 downloads, the second one didn't had that success. This was the main reason to stop development.

Click the link, click the "install now" button, restart the browser. After installing it, do a right click in any toolbar, select "Customize" and drag magnolia icon into any toolbar you like.

The background installation process consists in placing a button in the Firefox Customize toolbar, creating a search plug-in and inserting it in Firefox search engines list (not available in 0.6 version), building some add-on options, and waiting for browser to restart.

Working with it it's very simple: Pressing the button will open an interface similar with the one on magnolia web site and will take the current opened page details, as in title, description, URL, and place them in the corresponding interface fields. What you have to do now, if you are already logged in magnolia web site, is to choose your tags, complete description and press the submit button. If you're not logged in, a small window with the login form will pop, allowing you to login to magnolia web site.

Available only for 0.5 version: If you want to search something in magnolia web site by tag name you will have to select the search-engine from the list and type your term. The search engine will send the request to the web site and will get your results.
